Rules for Localtips.com.au

1. Link Web Services will run the competition from their premises so as a third party all conflict of interests will be avoided.

3. The footy tipping competition is open to all participants apart from employees and immediate families of Link Web Services & ILR.

4. A prize pool of over $60,000 will be on offer. 
   4.1. A early registration prize will take place between 01/02/08 – 29/02/08 for people who register between those dates.  The prize is $999 and the draw will take place at Link Web Services at 49 Phillip Avenue Watson ACT 2602 at 10.00am on the 03/03/08. 

5. Prizes which have not been claimed will be redrawn on the 02nd January 2009. The redraw covers both the first prize and any unclaimed prizes from rounds 01 – 26.

6. $10,000 will be won in Rugby League for the winner (the winner is the person who has the highest total points at the end of the season). If there is more than one winner then a count back will take place, and the person who had the highest total points as of the previous round will win. This will continue until a clear winner can be found. If there is no difference throughout the season then the prize will be shared.

7. $30,000 is available for the person who tips the whole season correct. If more than one person is eligible then the prize will be shared.

8. Entry is via the website only, and consumers will be directed to the website by A3 posters at store level (Local Liquor) and media advertising on Win TV and 2CC.

8. To put in their tips participants are to visit www.localtips.com.au

9. All participants will be required to be over 18 years old.

10. Consumers who enter the competition will receive a weekly reminder to put in their footy tips. The winners from the previous round will be acknowledged in the weekly reminder.

11. The footy tips website will accept tips up until 1 hour before each of the starting game times

12. People who do not put in their tips before the round closes will have their tips recorded for all of the away teams.

13. Two points for a correctly picked winner, zero points for an incorrect pick, and four points if a draw was picked correctly.  A draw is defined by the end of the match which includes extra time.

14. For the final series double points are on offer.  There are no weekly prizes in the final series

15. There will be $400.00 per round available for people who tip the whole round correct.

16. If more than one person has tipped the round correct then they share the $400.00. If no one has tipped the whole round correct then the $400.00 will jackpot to the following week in full.

17. A weekly prize (Raiders cap, water bottle, poster, magazine, VB Cap & polo and NRL cap  total prize worth $350.00) will go to the person with the highest tipping points for that round. If more than one person has the same points then the person who has submitted their tips first will win the prize pack.

18. Only one tipping account will be allowed per person. Where it is established a person is operating more than one account they may be disqualified for prizes. The judge’s decision is final.

19. All government rules and regulations will be adhered to.
